Megahalems not threaded!!!!

Just got my components from OCUK and one of my spring-loaded screws for my megahalems is UNTHREADED!

I even have a threading set but the piece is too small. I have a set that can thread the other screw but this one is too thin.

What do I DO!!!!!

LOL! not uncommon for a screw to somehow escape the thread rolling machine and still make it into a product box

If it's a standard screw you might be able to replace it with something from a friendly local fastener shop if you have one. Take it along and see what they can do.

Personally, and I know its a lot of bother, but I would RMA it because you have paid for a product and its not fit for purpose. You could even say how its delayed you somehow and see what they are offering as an appoligy?

When I got my Megahalems the screw was too thick! I had to file it down but it was OK in the end. If you cant get a screw to fit I guess you will need to RMA it.

Give OCUK a ring, or use the contact form/customer service section and i suspect they'll be able to sort it out fairly easily and quickly
