megahalems rev.B dont line up on a gigabyte

hello,
i have just bought a gigabyte x58a-ud7 motherboard with i7 920 chip etc
i was recomended to get the prolima megahalems rev.2 cpu cooler with twin fans bought seperatly

i have tried every which way of intalling this cooler to this board and the screw holes just dont match up

everything matches up until you try and add the aluminium mounting plate across the two strip adapters

the two spring loaded holes that hold the whole cooler on the chip dont match up

i'v tried all sorts to line them up but nothing works

does anybody know anything about this cooler or have came accross this problem in there travels ?

or have i just got a bad one and need to get in touch with ocuk ?

any help would be greatful

no sorry and unless youve seen this cooler or worked with it i doubt i could explain it well enough to make you understand my problem with it

hi,

sorry due to the one page of stupid tiny instructions i had one of the other two mounting brackets across from each other facing the wrong way
