megahalems temps

hey friends got my sandybridge build running all seems well and im looking at the uefi right now (optical drive and copy of windows 7 not arrived yet)

anyways my megahalems is in and my idle cpu temp is 39 - 40 degrees this seems a lil high for my liking, im almost certain its installed correctly, i used the included thermal paste and ive stuck a pull fan on the front of it

any ideas? maybe try some arctic silver5 and reseating?

If i'm correct you're monitoring the temps in the bios? Don't worry, my 2500k is around 43 derees in the bios (Not OC at all) with my Silver Arrow but using coretemp they're low thirties, high twenties. .

you are correct, ive been told the same thing elsewhere so thx i feel better now lol, i think il whack a sickleflow on it anyways just to be sure.
