Megaman, yay or nay?

I thought I would ask here though I'd be buying for Switch.

Never played one before and the legacy collections have just been made available on that platform. Any opinions on the series here? Worth a look for someone who missed out back then?

I never got in on the craze, probably should have but just at the time seemed a meh game series to me when it came out on the nes.

Suppose cos there were better games at the time.

I've never got in to it, I keep trying mainly the ones on the SNES but I never get very far and don't really see what all the fuss is about. I still might buy it for the Switch though and if it means I'm buying it with my hard earned cash I'll likely play it more.

I love the Megaman series! Definitely a challenge though. Megaman 2 has one of the best soundtracks on the nes too
