Shame to see it go, i used it fairly regularly.

Not a surprise especially with things like Icefilms for XBMC using it so much, always hate these sites for their misdirecting links aswell

As above expect it to be the first of many for these types of site
 
lol, legal users.

I used megaupload a lot. I have never seen a legal megaupload link though (I know they do exist, but the site was mainly piracy related lets face it)

No, i used it on a few occasions. Obviously torrenting is preferable, but for some of the less popular files with no seeds it's a decent enough service.

Don't understand why it's gone actually, it's just a file sharing website. I was under the impression that the laws that would make the site owners responsible for all the content on and linked to on their site hadn't passed yet? It doesn't even look like it was done with due process, they never got the chance to defend themselves.
