Do you need to wash these when you first buy them? Just came to dry/buff my car up after a wash, and its leaving little white fluff on the car.

I got one of these at the weekend and had the same thing

But I was using it to buff off the Quik Clay stuff. Once the car was dry and clean the fluff just wiped off with the Terry Towel.

I did wash it afterwards to make sure tho.

well ive just gave it a normal shampoo wash ,wanted to dry it down proper so i could wax it. I thought the purpose of it was to absorb the water and dry/buff the car? Its just smearing the water over the cars surface and leaving little bits of fluff on it.

Terry Towel I think is for buffing not drying, thats what the drying mitt is for.

ahhh so i could use the terry towel to buff my car after slapping some gold class wax on?
