Meike MK Battery Grip

I've used Meike grips on my Canon DSLRs for years, much better value for money than the rip off OEM
 
I'm just a bit reluctant to use it watching the odd video about them they tend to buckle slightly because of it not structurally connecting properly to the camera. The only other issues I have is having to buy a bigger bag I can't leave it on all the time with the bag I currently have it's too small, I just got to think is it really worth having it on and it doesn't take long to change the battery.
 
I find using a grip helps when using big heavy lenses or shooting in portrait. Battery life has never been that much of an issue.
