not really one for classical so dont really know much about it. what i do know is i really enjoy the chilled out pieces. I'm not a fan of the belting full on orchestra that sound like your preparing/charging into a war.

some of the music that I find very fond are

anyone got any other pieces that they feel sound beutiful to sit back and relax to?

Came in thinking you were looking for suggestions ready to say Einaudi yet he's your first link :)

He is excellent IMO and I Giorni is one of my favourite pieces of music ever. It recently actually hit the top 40 chart after a push by Scott Mills!

I'm a big fan of Ludovico Einaudi, have seen him live 3 times, and Nuvole Bianche is probably one of my favourite pieces of his music. I'm looking for some suggestions of other musicians similar to Einaudi (relaxing melodic piano), so I'll keep an eye on this thread :).

And some for the morning! Most of the ones I've posted should be recognisable.

Away from classical there is some other good stuff that can fill the same criteria - there is some good jazz (can't beat some Mingus on a hot summers night - I love the Paris TNP) and then the recent electronic stuff eg BT: If The Stars are Eternal So Are You and I.
