Hi guys..
opened up my case today to install nice new psu and my GTX 275, and noticed that 2 out of my 4 ram modules (ocz ddr2 8500) were not aligned as they should be against the motherboard. took out the modules and the thermal tape that keeps the ram in the heat sink has melted
it still works fine but have had to take them out as they wont last much longer im sure..
As i said I have 4 of these and the 2 modules that are in dim slot 1 A and B are fine but the 2 modules in dim slot 2 A and B are the ones that have melted
can't really understand because I didn't think the temperature in my case was particularly hot. I have an packard bell ipower case that I managed to get of a friend... 3 80mm fans that keep everything else in the case cool (gtx 275 and q6600)
would I be able to take of the heat sinks and re apply some thermal tape (if so what stuff do i need to use) or will I damage them if i try and do this?

As I said im totally confused by it all.. so any help or advice would be great!
