mem and core on 1900xtx wrong

i just got my sapphire 1900xtx yesterday and when i finished doing my build and installed the software i looked in the catalyst center to find that the core and mem are set to c500/m594 this cant be right can it

Those are its 2d clocks. The card will automatically increase when you play a game.

Run rivatuner on its diagnostic graphs in the background whilst playing a game and you should see a rise in the clocks going along the graph.

it cant be the 2d scores coz even in atitool its reporting the gpu and mem at the above mentioned clocks

Well the Club3D x1900XTX's clocks are 650MHz core and 775MHz DDR RAM (1.55GHz effective).

I can't see wht the Sapphre wouldn't be the same. Even the XT versions clocks are 625MHz and a memory clock of 725MHz DDR (1.45GHz effective).

Try whacking them up using ATi Tool.

Ste mate, even when using ATi tool it'll report the 2d clocks - it will change when you run a game.

u sure rob coz it reported the 3d scores on my 9800p

yup Robert is right. Your 9800pro didn't have serperate 2d/3d clocks. The X1900XT (X) does. Do what I said earlier with Rivatuner and you should see the clocks increase when you go into a 3d app.
