Mem choice.

Hi, recently got one of these:

Asus z77 premium and I'm currently waiting on a 3570k which I'll hopefully get to 4.4ghz stable and good temps.

Now I just need some memory, mainly for gaming, no more than 8Gb, don't really see the point. Until I get some I'll be running 4th xms3, think it's 1333 speed.

I would honestly go for the Samsung Green, I wish I had!

Any 2x4GB kit will do. Make sure its 1600mhz and the usual timings (9-9-9-24 or there abouts) and your good to go. More expensive RAM usually just has a nicer look in all honesty (vengeance/dominator and the like) the samsung green RAM is meant to be amazing so I would try to grab some of that.

ASUS bios is working well with the Samsung so you should be ok with that and Overclock it or Pay more and get G.SKILL TridentX and clock to 2600mhz. Your choice with that type of expense paid on a board I personally would go TridentX.

Can I ask why did you not get one on the ASUS ROG boards MVF or MVE???

Went for the samsung green from OC got go with my 3570k again from OC.

Apologies for the post with the competitors name, just totally slipped my mind with me being on the hunt all over the internet posting in several places at once.
