Any advice would be really good,

I've got the Geil one TCCD kit 1gb, and I now want to go 2gb.

I'll be wanting a 2gb kit that'll perform as well as my geil, mind you I'm not sure I'll see the difference on my kit

I run a 290htt *10 multi and mem at 166mhz and the bus things at 800 each, sorry the ASRock sata2 bios is quite odd.

Whats good or bad, also quite limited on the volts on this mobo.

I'm about to order a the following, from OCUK of course

NEC 20WGX2 20.1"
WD Raptor 36GB *
WD Caviar 250GB
2 x WD cable thingy's *
Plextor px-755SA Sata dvdrw *

* Might not get these and put the cash from them toward a 2gb kit + a bit extra. will spend £180 max

Or am I better off just getting an other fast 1gb kit and adding that ?

I'm a little confused, how come your running a divider on you memory at only 290Mhz, I got my GEIL One running at 320Mhz 1:1

YOu will need to get a 2Gb kit IMO, as 4x512Mb makes it revert to 2T and looses clocks.

Some G-Skill PC4000 2Gb should get enough Mhz to get to the speed using the 166 divider :)

We'll yes in theory mine should run happy at 300 1:1 or slightly more.

But It just won't boot up if i choose the memory to run at 200 and the htt things to both run at 1000, sorry for sounding daft but I'm at work and I can't remember what the actual options in the bios are called.

So the best I can get it to do is the mem option at 166 and the htt things set both at 800.
