members market rules...

You need to be able to read threads fully before you're let loose on the Members Market...

(See #19 in this thread)

If you had more than 100 posts and had enabled your trust about a year ago you'd probably be in now, but as it is I think you'd need another 49 posts & enable your trust

just wondering if i qualify for the MM i've been here for a long old time and got some posts??
I'm going to guess at the majority of your posts have been quite recently, so your post count will have been lower than 100 at the time of the MM post number change, you'll have to wait til 250. Plus you've not enabled trust, so you wouldn't have access anyway.

The rules are there to protect the members from fraud basically, and they do this rather well.

Just read the basic rules on the opening page and dont post unless you have interest in the item and you will be fine in it.

Moderated quite heavily, you will find early price drops about, RTM them although the member may have already served the usual 48 hour suspension for them which is why they may still be there.

okeydokey, understood :) was more concearned by all the people with low post counts... some of them have 150 posts but have been registerd since 2002! do they do nothing other than MM ??? are we all radio active to them ? :p
I know someone very well who has less than 150 posts and has been here for over 3 years. He is 100% trustworthy, he just tends to lurk a lot and only posts if he really has something to contribute and even then only in certain forums. I don't think he has ever bought fom MM (though I could be wrong). I guess it's worth clicking on the persons profile to get an idea where their posts are (if all the threads haven't been deleted).

So there are low post count members who have been here a long time who are trustworthy, but I can understand your concern. As said if unsure RTM it :)

It's not something I deal with, but I believe the norm is that for minor rule breaks you should be getting suspended for 24hours though that might depend on the specific Don that is dealing with it.

Repeated rule breaks will get your MM access removed.

If you see any rule breaks in MM I encourage you to report it via the RTM button so that it can be dealt with as maintaining the rules in MM actively helps protect people from dodgy deals.

I still can't get in to MM, seems I have met all the specified requirements. :( Unless I am missing something.

Someone posted about "enabling trust" how do I go about doing this, I checked User CP and I can't find any option for this?

Help most appreciated :)

Should get access within 24hours, if not email myself or one of the other Dons/Admins and we'll get it sorted for you.
