I'm still a way off the 250 posts needed to get access to it so I was wondering if someone could post a quick list of roughly what's on there? (obviously no names / prices)

Is it mostly graphics cards or do motherboards and processors etc make their way onto it as well?

Ok thanks, I guess just before new stuff is released there is a whole raft of 'old' stuff put up there.

How many things are generally up at any one time? Tens, hundreds...?

It's not the point of the forums though, don't go around spamming yourself to 250 posts to get into the members market.

Also the rules are extremely strict, the most strict I've ever encountered on any forum. At first it annoyed me but then I learned to really appreciate them (after a few suspensions ) . Makes the MM one of the best IMO.

As already mentioned, you will find basically everything PC related. In a single day, you normally get around two and a half pages of threads with things being sold so it's pretty busy. It's obviously slightly quieter on weekends than it is on weekdays.

The Members Market Rules can be found here which will tell you the sorts of things which can be and are sold in the Members Market. It is located in the "Testing" section so you can still view them even though you may not have access to the Members Market sections.

If anyone isn't already aware, here are the requirements for the Members Market:

The members market is provided as a free service to active and contributing forum members. OcUK are not liable for any deals that are done in the Members Market, you are free to buy and sell at your own risk. Please read the rules of the Members Market before you proceed to make your first sale.

Access to the Members Market forum requires two things. Firstly, you will need to have over 250 posts and have been signed up for at least 90 days. Please note that this does not mean you spam the forums simply to increase your posts, as this action will result in posts being deducted, and if you continue this behaviour, your account will eventually be banned/suspended. Once you reach 250 posts, you will need to activate your trust. This is either found in your UserCP, or you can press the trust button that appears at the bottom of all your posts.

Once you satisfy both of these criteria, Members Market access will be granted within 24hrs. Please do not post on the forums asking why you cannot access the members market, if you have any queries, email one of the forum Dons/Admins. The contact addresses are available in the FAQ.
