I have received taken over as a membership secretary for a small sporting charity (approx 150 members at the moment), and I'm looking for software that will allow me to keep track of membership details. Aside from the obvious need to store member contact details/information, I'd like to be able to identify mailing lists based on role in the organisation (ie, athlete/volunteer/official) or the club that people are involved in. Also, as individual membership will run from different dates, it would be useful to have an alert when each membership is due for renewal (ie, that I could set for two weeks in advance and give myself time to post out a new form and collect in membership fees).
Any suggestions/advice would be much appreciated - thanks in advance.
