Hey ppl. I wanna make my ram run on 1066 mhz wich the ram actually is. But my problem is that they only run on 400 mhz. And i blaime my MB for the issue.
i'm not interested in overclocking my cpu or anything else. I just want the ram to use theire right amount of speed. i'll try and update the bios if that should do a difference. And if thats the case can anyone give a walk through on how to update the bios since i got NO clue on what i'm doing here. :)

Info about my system is:
MB: Gigabyte EP45-DS3 Rev. 1.0 running bios ver. F8
Cpu:Intel Q9550 2.83 GHz
Ram: 8 GB Corsair XMS2 pc8500 1066 MHz.
GPU: 2x XFX ATi HD 5850 XXX
PSU: NQ 850W.

i ran CPUZ yesterday and it said 333 on the memory. Then while i was waiting for a reply on here i just thought to hell with it.. And i just tryed adjusting the settings in the bios. so i changede voltage on Dram to 2.0V, step to 7-7-7-20 and something called memory multiplier to 3.20B. Then launched CPUZ and now it says memory running @ 533 MHz.
So i'm gonna take my guess on that they should run on the 1066 MHz now.

But thanks for the quick reply to you both..
