I have a i5 760 and asus p7p55d pro mobo and corsair xms3 ddr3 ram.
Now when i turn my pc on i have to press the memok button if i want it to work otherwise i get bluescreens due to memory management and loads of errors on a memtest, the problem is have to do this everything i leave my computer turned off for a few hours, it works perfectly for days once its turned on, just when i try turning it on after a few hours i have to do the memory compatibility tuning, WHY? I have tryed setting the ram up manually in bios and saving the settings and also underclocking the ram all to no avail, also updated bios to latest version, how can i get this to stop?

I hope its not a faulty motherboard i've just rma'd 2 gigabyte ga-p55-ud2's, went for a more expensive one this time, i was hoping i had just missed doing something it says go into bios to save memory settings and i save and exit the bios, i think thats what it means. Does anybody else have the same motherboard to offer advice

Is the ram installed in the 2 blue slots on the board ?

I take it the ram was set to 9-9-9-24-2T, with everything else at AUTO in the DRam Timing Control section ?

Were you only getting the problem when you were overclocked at 3.8ghz, or are you getting it with everything on default settings, cpu at 2.8ghz ?

yes the ram is in dual channel mode.
It is rated at them timings and a manually entered 9 9 9 24 to try and help rest are set to auto.
I was getting the problem before overclocking and with everything set to default :(.

i'll try setting it to 2t later, they where at default, most things at auto few voltage settings are shown i think but they all seemed alright, i'll takea pciture tomorrow.

No the p55-ud2's where returned because of different problems, first didn't post, second 2 chips burnt out (from the mosfet) which means it could have damaged the cpu or ram but they both seem to work fine once i pressed the memOK first :s. When i run a memtest before doing the memok i get loads and loads of errors (thousands in the first few seconds) then when doing it after doing a memok it comes back without any errors atall.
