Memory advice for P8P67 Pro board

I have recently finished reviewing the 4GB G.Skill 2133mhz Memory and it ran flawlessly in an Asus P8P67 Deluxe; my collegue also reviewed it in a PRO board.

I generally use 8GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz which also works well on the Asus board; but I was able to overclock better with the faster RipjawsX kit.

hey shaddow im looking at buying that very board, but i was a little worried about the corsair vengeance ram fitting with the heatsink such as the Zalman CNPS9900-LED CPU Cooler. have you had any issue with the ram as they have large heatspreaders and i just dont want to buy it and find it does not fit.

also captain is kingston really that good? ive always used corsair and never had a failure yet. but hearing from someone like yourself with a lot more experiance has given me some food for thought shall we say :)

I have that board and a Akasa Venom coolerhttp://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-072-AK, and G Skill Ram http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-056-GS .

The 1st slot is covered by the heatsink and the ram is too high to fit, i would think you would have the same problem with Vengeance ram :(

thats what i pretty much expected, looks like im gonna give kingston a go after reading captain'ss comments.

there is some corsair low profile stuff which would do the job aswell so i have a few options to consider

Yes, it really is. Honestly the best RAM in terms of reliability I've ever used, and I've used a *lot* of RAM.
