Memory Advice Required!

Purchasing the following next week Asus P5KC Combo Intel P35 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 & DDR3 Motherboard.

What memory should I use to go along with it, I know the GeIL is on offer but by next week it will be back to it's normal value so any recommendations to use with my chosen Motherboard.

The Geil should be no more than £3 or £4 more than it is now. So either it or the OCZ PC6400 Platinum would be the easiest choices.

Will either the GeIL or the OCZ be fine with the Asus P5KC Combo as it's a new build? Will I encounter any problems on first boot etc?

Whats the difference with these settings? Never understood these.
