Memory Advice

Hi,

Just after some advice on memory.

Looking to go Vista 64bit soonish, and I'm getting Photoshop CS4-Extended when its released. My current windows rig has 2GB of decent ocz memory, but its nothing special.

Anyway, as I'm getting more into graphic design, video rendering etc, I'm looking at 4gb (8gb is probably overkill?) of good memory suited to this task.

Any suggestions?

Will you be using Photoshop professionally or as a hobby or what? If you are making your living doing it, get 8GB.

Part-time to (hopefully) professionally. I'm going for 8gb as mem is so cheap anyway

I read the other day that CS4 is going to be able to utilize the GPU via CUDA on Nvidia GPUs. It should be pretty neat and powerful.
