hi i am looking to buy some OCZ memory for my PC. i have been on the crucial website and they say the ballistix below is ok for my pc

Specs: DDR2 PC2-6400 • 4-4-4-12 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR2-800 • 2.0V • 128Meg

the OCZ i am looking to buy is DDR2 PC2-6400 CL5 ( 5-5-5-18 ) 2.1V.

will either work as my existing memory is showing as 6-6-6-18 3-24-7-4 2T

As i have no idea what any of this means could someone point me in the right direction please.

regards

thats wher i am gonna fall down. i have a poxy Dell with the BIOS locked so i cant change any of the settings. I have been looking for OC software but even the one i found is leaving me stumped. Just thought i might be able to bang some faster memory into my machine to help with my games

sorry yes it is DDR2

i have been looking around and all the decent stuff (Corsair, Geil, OCZ etc) seem to run at 2V + - 1V. The crucial scanner said their Ballistix would work in my board (it came up with the right machine) and that shows as 2V.
i think ill give that a go and start saving for a new board.

I have been trying to use rightmark CPU clock utility do you know if it is any good and what i might set with it on my Q6600 ?

thanks
