The memory I currently have (no brand ddr3 1600 made of micron chips) gives me all kinds of BSOD's, relating to usb drivers, irql not less or equal, system service exception, anything it can think of.

I want to replace it with this patriot g series stuff and wanted to know if it would run at 1360mz, because that's what my ram is set at to run an i5 at 3400mz and I don't know how to lower it.

Does your current RAM have any warranty on it (if its no-brand probably not - but worth asking)?

As for the Patriot running at 1360MHz, I don't think anyone can guarantee that it will (as it is only specified to run at 1333MHz) - however in all likelihood it will run at that speed fine (though you may have to loosen the timings a bit). If you go into the BIOS and look for the memory frequency/memory multiplier you should be able to decrease this so that such a high RAM speed is not required for the overclock.
