Hey guys.

Not to sure what part of the forum this should be in so sorry if it's in the wrong place.

I'm looking into getting some new memory for my build.I've got a Phenom II X4 955 BE that i'm looking into overclocking and it's on a Asus M4N98TD EVO mb. Just now i've got a crucial 4gb kit in it (2x2gb) it's ballistic memory module PC3-8500 1066mhz. what would be the best memory for this setup for overclocking with? could the memory i have now be causing me to not achieve a stable over clock?

any help/advice would be greatly apprciated :)

you can basically use any DDR3 memory, although for AMD systems dual channel is better than Triple, also less sticks is better for overclocking, using a 2x2Gb setup instead of say 4x1Gb will easily net you a bigger window for overclocking. so keeping it at a maximum of 2 sticks of ram works better than all the slots filled. :)
