Memory choice - which should I choose?

Basically I need some extra ram as I'm running virtually machines in VMWare, currently I have 2x1GB on a Gigabyte P965 DS3P v2 board and an E6600 cpu that I'm planning to clock to aprox 3Ghz. Trying to decide between the following 2 products....

OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 PC2-8500 Gold Edition 4GB Dual Channel (OCZ2G10664GK)

OR

OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2 (OCZ2G8004GK)

If possible I'm more interested in running the sticks at 1.8v and underclocking them but running them with tight timings, (currently running my PC6400 OCZ sticks @ PC5400 speeds but at CAS3 timings) so would the PC8500 sticks be better for doing this i.e. say run at only PC6400 speed @1.8v and tight timings, obviously however the sticks need to support the overclock on the cpu should I need to increase the fsb speeds?

Many thanks in advance.

High memory speeds and looser timings give you more of a speed increase than low speeds and tight timings with Core 2 Duos. Although you won't need the PC2-8500 stuff if you only clock to 3ghz, bear in mind it runs 266mhz faster at the same timings, so I'd go for that.
