Hi,

Have 99% decided on the above combo but I am needing a steer in the
right direction with what memory is required to get a decent overclock out
of it.

1.http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-085-CR

2.http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-000-TG

I like the idea of the Crucial being UK based but if the stick did go belly up and with it being a limited edition would replacements be of similar price / quality / speed ?

The last one to grab my attention was these

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-004-TG

The £50.00 saving would help to keep the Wife from moaning but would
they greatly hinder performance ?

All these stick also seem to have the Micron chips in these which I believe
are better.

Any advice on this would be helpful.

Also feel free to chip in with any other suggestions as well.

Cheers.

Hello mate. I would recommend not getting any of them especially the last one. Cas 5? Bleh you couldnt get an overclock out of that.

No what you are looking for is cheaper than the others, Is DDRII 800 and it is...... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-058-GL

PC6400 800MHz CAS 4-4-4-12
- 64x8 DDR2 BGA Chips
- 240pin, Non-ECC, Un-buffered DDR2 SDRAM DIMM
- Aluminum Heat-spreader
- 6 Layers Ultra Low Noises Shielded PCB
- Lifetime Warranty
- 1.9V-2.3V Power Supply `

Come on dude, I mean 4-4-4-12??? And the price is only £166.84.

In my humble opinion I belive that for the price these are the best. Indeed Im going to be buying some. It has got great reviews on the net and was a £174 on overclockers yesterday. (Or you can wait till thursday and see what comes up ;))

Thanks for your replies,

But is the £50.00 saving worth it to go with the C5 instead of the C4 and

what would be the likely performance hit in doing so.

Hi,

It was the Team Stuff I was looking at it (2nd link v the 3rd link as there £50.00 notes between them)

Just looking to find out would i notice £50.00 worth of diff on the 6600/975 combo ?
