Hi, i bult a new system afew weeks ago which was based on,
AMD64 3700+ (san diago)
ASUS A8N-SLI se

but i am still using my old kingston hyperX 3200 memory, i need this memory to put back into my old P4 so im looking at getting new stuff in.

i was looking at the Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3500LL Pro TwinX (2x1GB) CAS2 but i have since been told to look at the G.Skill 2GB DDR HZ PC4000 (2x1GB) CAS3 Dual or some from OCZ or Mushkin.

i am overclocking my CPU also so the memory needs to be able to handle it

what would be a good choice to pick from ? any help would be great!

ok thanks for the reply.

does know how the G.Skill 2GB DDR HZ PC4000 and the Mushkin 2GB DDR XP4000 Extreme Performance Dual Channel Kit compair to the corsair.

i cant seem to find any comparative reviews anywhere, the only review ive been able to find was for the mushkin, which did sound very good!

i have about £250 to spend.

i was talking to someone and they are strongly recomending the G.Skills kit, mainly because they say because the athlon 64's will make much better use of the extra bandwidth than it will the tighter timmings.

any thoughts on that ?

ok thanks, i was actually leaning more to wards the mushkin 4000 redline kit before i was told ^^ that.

ive just been having a look about and i found this artical that says the extra bandwidth and better/tighter timings you get from o/c and buying the faster RAM is not worth the "extra" ££ you will spend.

any thoughts?
