Memory compatiability

OKay im working on my first build. Its gonna be an AMD build and i had a question about memory.

First im using this motherboard ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3

The memory standard states

DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1600/1333/1066


I plan on using this ram

Which is DDR3 2000Mhz

Now the board states 2000Mhz(O.C.) does mean that i can only acheive that speed by overclocking and if so will the memory still be okay to use until i overclock it to those speeds

Basically yes, in order to reach those speeds you would need to overclock the system.
