Memory Compatibility

I currently have Corsair 1GB DDR2 XMS2-5400 TwinX. My mobo is the Abit AA8 DURAMAX. I want to upgrade to 2GB.

Is the motherboard compatible with the new type of Corsair RAM? If not I will have to buy the old type.

It should work with any DDR2, compatibility is rarely an issue anymore.

Will my motherboard still be able to take advantage of the speed etc? Would you recommend any other brands instead of Corsair?
