Memory Confusion

Once again I am in need of some help regarding memory.
I was gifted an old i7 pc which I plan to use in my workshop. I mainly use it to draw in CAD and run two small cnc machines.
At present it has 2 x 4GB sticks of ram installed, but I would like to up it to at least 16GB, possibly even 32GB.
The MB that's in it is a "Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC" and so far I am struggling to find compatible memory for it, from the age of the pc I am assuming that this motherboard is no longer in production.

Can anyone help me with memory which would be compatible ?

For that motherboard you will need DDR3 240 pin memory, ideally 1600Mhz (may also be known as PC 12800).

Your best option will be to source second hand, either via the usual auction site or the high street second hand shop.

32GB should be possible, so you'd need 4x8 GB Modules .
