Memory Divider

I have heard about this divider thing on memory i aint to sure what it is or how to use it does it mean i could possibly get a higher overclock without overclocking my ram more? i currently has Asus P5b Deluxe motherboard and OCZ xtc PC6400 800mhz

In short if you set the memory divider up correctly you can run your 800Mhz memory @ 533Mhz with your cpu at stock. Then the overclocking can start !!!

Got a DS4 mobo, so unfortunately not. Hopefully someone with your mobo can help. Principle is the same, but terminology in bios will be different

I still aint to sure with this memory div thingy, does this mean once i go buy 400x7 i need to start overclocking memory?
