Hi folks.

At the moment i'm at 3.6Ghz on my Q6600, 9x400.

Memory is at 1:1, leaving it at stock speeds.

Memory is 4Gb G.Skill DDR2 PQ PC2-6400C5 (this)

The max i can get the memory to overclock is around 844. This was after running my quad at 3.8Ghz, 9x422.

I've tried raising the voltage on the ram to 2.0v, as the default was 1.8.

Any ideas how i can get the memory to clock further? I'm pretty sure it isnt the CPU holding back the overclock as i've tried running anything up to 1.6v through it to see if it would boot, but i just BSOD whilst loading windows.

Thanks for your time. :)

Most CAS 5 PC2-6400 won't overclock well. Drop it to CAS 6 if you want it to clock further.

You'll probably take a hit, tho will you actually be running the Q6600 faster than 3.8ghz every day?
