just doing a bit of oc'ing, memory is just set to xmp and everything for it is on auto
I am running avexir 2400 4x4GB
auto volts is running it at 1.675
when using 4 slots do i have to slacken timings, increase what volts, io?? dram?? or all of it?

crash dump info:-

heres settings on auto, anyone help?

try setting it to the xmp timings shown in the timings table for 2400mhz

10-12-12-31-but try 2t instead of 1t,or could try 12-12-12-31-2t

tried that also tried 14-12-12-31-2t

still getting BC code 50 unstable timings/frequency

what i should add is that i'm trying to get a 4.6GHz oc but with energy savings enabled, can do 4.5 with no problems and if i set to 4.6 the ram is just unstable, dropped the speed to 2133 with the above timings but no joy.

The only way to get 4.6 to work is to set vcore at 1.4v and vdroop at 87.5%

PLL is at 1.6v
IO 1.19v
SA 1.1v

it will run at its rated 2.4GHz at 4.6GHz when the vcore is on manual, switch to auto and computer says NO!
not tried dropping below 2133 and i wont be happy if i have to.
Have run 2 sticks upto 2.5GHz
Does the io voltage have to be higher when running 4 sticks???

gave up(for now) on 4.6 with energy savings so went for 4.5 ran IBT and everything passed and was fine saved the profile and pushed for 4.6 again but still no joy, loaded up 4.5 and it failed, just would not boot. Damm pc's!!!
back to original profile of 4.623GHz @ 1.4v constant.

you tend to need slightly more cpu v if power saving is used compared to a fixed voltage,4.6ghz is tricky though,4.5ghz is much easier

think cos i need a lot of vcore for my chip auto just does not provide enough.
thought i had cracked 4.5 but it appears not, although i'm running a beta bios for my board and its not the best this time round.
so unless the next bios is more stable 4.4 is about my max with energy savings.
God i need a low vcore 3770k, anyone got one??
