Memory foam mattress topper

Seems a lot of money for very little. I used to have a memory foam topper on my old mattress and it was <£50 but seem to have gone up a lot now. Once I'd changed our mattress it wasn't needed.

Personally I'd rather spend £400 (king size) on a new mattress than £165 on a thin topper that is probably compensating for a tired/old mattress. E.g.:

Bought the Emma Flip day after posting …100 night trial…tried it for 2 nights and decided it’s going back. It stinks, it’s hot, not really that comfortable…so memory foam not for me
