Memory Foam Mattress

Got one here, lovely mattress - cost about £450, 5 year warranty - feels as good as the first time I laid on it.

It has a top layer about 2-3 inches deep of the proper expensive memory foam, then further cheaper foam underneath.

Can't recommend memory foam enough really :D Great nights sleep.

iv got one at my sisters, its from TJ hughes, theyr pretty cheap in there at the moment(probably will be forever.) and its amazing. I love it. It slaughters my matress iv got at my mum and dads house, nevermind the one iv got at work. Think the one at my parents cost 3x as much too.

I've got a pocket spring/memory foam mattress and it's very comfortable. The only problem I have is that the foam seems to retain heat so you can get very hot on them in summer.

I think thats the reason i've not got one of these, read quite a lot about them been too hot.
Is they anything you can do about it or even are different types better for less heat?

Go a pocket sprung memory foam upper mattress. Wouldnt go back.

Used to have a pure memory foam, and it was awful, cost shed loads as well.

had one for a while, had to get rid of it :(

I 'cook' in bed, always have and these foam mattress' just made me even hotter and unable to sleep. Not the norm I know but worth consideration if your an overly warm person whilst sleeping

Thanks for all the thoughts, guys and gals.

I went for a Breasley in the end. Pretty good value: £250 for a King Size.

Initial thoughts were that we'd screwed up: the bed wasn't as comfortable as we'd hoped and it stank of fumes.

Thankfully,. with regular airing the smell's getting better and we're also sleeping like logs now!

Most pleased!
