I actually bought our full 8" king size memory foam mattress on ebay, from a very good seller (billy4su).
Had it 2 years now and it's awesome, still as good as the day it arrived, one of the best things i've ever bought.

I had a mattress topper and got rid of it after a few months, if your mattress needs replacing then a topper won't make a blind bit of difference imo - it actually flared up a back problem I thought I'd got rid of.

Mine also kept slipping which was annoying.

My sister and her hubby sleep on one of these memory foam mattress toppers from here - problem is I'm not sure whether it is the nornal one or the 'Breathable memory foam topper'. Anyway, they think it's great. She has a bad back and that's why they got it in the first place.

Can you get memory foam "toppers" for say a computer chair? Would they be any good if you could? I bought a supposedly upmarket computer chair from that stationary place which said it used "memory foam technology" , but as far as I can tell its only in the arm rests. Fat lot of good it is there, the seat bit seems like any old cushion you get in normal chairs and after 6 months use it is starting to compress, like every chair I've had before.

Yup, got one off the bay. A proper matress not a topper.

Takes about a week to get used to it, at first you kinda find it uncomfortable but you soon adjust and find you don't want to get out of bed ever!

Also they come vacuum packed  and rolled up in a tube, you need to give them about half a day to regain there shape before you can sleep on them.

Came with a free cover and pillow and free delivery, worked out pretty cheap. Although the pillow is like a travel pillow, great for camping, but not big enough to use daily.
