Memory for a DS4 board

Just installed Vista 64bit and computer seemed dead slow so I am trying to upgrade a few things (only have a E6300 CPU but thats covered in another thread).

Currently have 2x1GB of Geil PC2-6400 memory on a Gigabyte DS4 (rev 1.0) Motherboard. Looking at the mobo website it seems although a 1066Mhz FSB is supported for the CPU, only DDR2 800/667/533 is supported for the memory. So a couple of questions:

1) Does that mean for this board I am limited to PC2-6400 memory and can't use PC2-8500?

2) Is it worth upgrading from 2GB to 4GB of memory? and if so do I need to match brands and CL etc with my current 2GB?

3) My current memory is rated at CL4 at 800Mhz, but CPU-Z says its only achieving CL5 is this a big difference and can I fix it? (might be down to the voltage as it's reading at 1.8V and I think I remember the box says 1.9-2.0v or something)

ok, think I'm sold and at current prices I might as well get a full set of 8GB rather than just add 4GB to what I already have. But can't decided which memory to get (gonna try to o/c it a little so my E6300 will go a little faster).
Should I get:
2x Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX (2x2GB) @ £31.99 each or
2x OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2 @ £33.99 each?
