Memory for Acer aspire 7720G

Hi, i am about to get the above laptop, i presume it will have 2 x 1gb sticks in it with one slot free, i am looking to upgrade it when i get it to 3gb ram.

Doea anyone know which ram acer use in this laptop or will any that is compatible do?

i have found this on crucial's website which is cl5, is cl5 what i am best getting or there was a 1gb stick that was cl6:

You seem to be assuming that it has three memory slots and I don't think that's a safe assumption at all. Two slots is the norm for all lappies I've seen over the last few years.

I opened up my acer aspire and as mentioned above it only has 2-sockets which are both populated
