I'm building a pc with a dual core 6400 & gigabyte ds4 board. I'm not sure what memory to buy for it either but I want to be able to overclock. I've done a bit of looking but I'm not sure if I need 6400 or 8500 memory. Anyone help me out?

Forget its only PC5300,it clocks like a beast,mine is running 972Mhz @ 12-4-4-4 ,but does over 1000Mhz with ease

Well i was just going to say the Geil Ultra is good...but if you say the Ballistix are that good and cheaper...what more is there to say!.
