I am offered :

DDR3 PC3-8500 • CL=7 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR3-1066 • 1.5V

DDR3 PC3-10600 • CL=9 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR3-1333

Is there any significant difference (both 2GB)

thanks, Mel

Is this a netbook with an atom processor?

There would be no noticable performance difference between those 2 memory types in a netbook.

Yes it is (550 dual core) - and it has 1GB at present but a 2GB "card" is only £20 - I presume that this would improve performance?

Thanks, Mel

The additional memory will help, especially if it's running Windows 7.
The speed difference between modules will not be noticeable. Get the cheapest!
I'm also surprised the eee range is using DDR3 now. Which one is it?

ASUS Eee PC 1015PEM Seashell - Atom N550 Dual Core 1.5 GHz - 10.1" TFT. Win 7 starter.

Both memory modules are the same - £20 + delivery. Not a lot!
