Memory for GA-Z87X-UD5H

Hello,

I want to build a powerful Workstation PC with the Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD5H motherboard and the Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell). However, I know faster RAM helps and I am not into playing games, so would the Corsair Dominator PLATINUM CMD16GX3M4A2400C9 be complete overkill? I know it's expensive
