Hey,

I have eventually decided on what system I want. However, I am not sure what is the best memory for my system and gaming.

Asus Crosshair 4
AMD Phenom 955
AMD 6870

This is what I am leaning toward: OCZ Reaper Low-Latency 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 12800C6 (1600MHz) Dual-Channel.

Thanks

Hope yur planning to crossfire your GPUs in the future or tis a wasteful work of art :). Has some super sexy overclocking features to tho i guess!

Oh yeh thats the reason why ime gettin that motherboard, nothings"future proof" but its close! Cant go wrong with xms3 so i may go with them thanks. Them Vipers are bang for buck quite superior tho...

I though RAM doesn't usually have a too big impact on FPS in gaming, unless you're overclocking. But I would highly recommend any OCZ modules.

8gb of memory is a lot of memory and from what ive researched you dont need that money to game at the top end. Plus ime using a 32bit operating system so ime just going to cater for that now.

yeh the asus mobo is overpriced as hell. Ile save a tenna tho when i order it friday haha is it ok then? Overall I really like it though, maybe its not justified but hey... what is.

So I think its between the g.skill and the ocz reaper.
