Memory for Intel Core i5-8400

Hi all I'm looking to upgrade the RAM on my PC and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations.
The specs;
Intel Core i5-8400 2.8Ghz
Asus Prime H310-Plus

I'm currently looking to get 16gb of RAM, does anyone have any specific recommendations for this.

PS. Currently running a GeFortce GTX 1060, would also love to upgrade this but am unsure how far to go with the setup above since I understand it is not the most up to date.

Your board is limited to stock so it doesn't really matter what you buy. Personally I'd buy something better than stock, just because you can re-use it later if you upgrade.

Awesome so just any upgrade for the memory should be fine for now till I upgrade in the future

Yes, stock is 2666, so it won't operate higher than that, but there's plenty higher RAMs on the QVL, so I'd suggest at least 3000, for use with future upgrades or selling it.
