I have just purchase a new Sony TX5VN/B ultra-portable laptop. I intend to run Windows XP Home. The current memory is 512Mb fixed and 512Mb upgradable. I am thinking of buying a 1Gb module to up the memory.
Now I can get the 'official' Sony 1Gb modle for £171.00 or go for a Corsair 1Gb module for around £30. Any reason not to go for this type of modile.
