I'm currently overclocking my 6300 (below [F7 Bios btw]) and the memory is confusing me a bit.
I'm not sure whether the memory frequency given in the bios is the same as the rated frequency for the memory.
For example with an overclock to 2.25GHz (322x7), with the memory multiplier set to 2.0, the Memory frequency is 644MHz. However if I boot into windows, CPUZ shows half this speed (322) with a 1:1 divider.
If I leave it on auto multiplier the bios gives me 805MHz while CPUZ shows 402.5 with a divider of 4:5. Which one is on the same scale as the 667 rating?
I'm really not sure what I should be setting this to. Everything I see talks about dividers while the bios uses multipliers.
Additionally I don't know what I'm doing with timings, so they are currently set to auto.
Any help with either of these would be appreciated. Thanks
