memory gaming speed

this article is interesting, as in the noticeable increase in fps with faster memory with ivy. This is for discrete and IGP
I was always informed by some people on these forums that there is very little difference between say 1600 and 2400, benching maybe but it appears in gaming you can see a 5-10% increase in FPS :cool:

Never are you informed by those who actually know. i.e ME!!!!! Faster, faster and then tighter and tighter!!! Go go go go!!!!!!!!
 
Nice read, wish i bought 2400 ram now, at least i can bump my 1866 ram up a little

Which 1866 mem do you have. I am just testing some Corsair Plats here which look fab and do 2400 easy at 1.65 everyday volts. Cas 10 1T timings they will bench cas 9 at this speed too.

2 games at a single setting.... Need more tests before making any form of conclusion especially considering the frame rates achieved were beyond what a 120Hz monitor can differentiate.

can you do a rough guide 8 pack for tunning ram, not having much luck now i bought another 8 gig
