Memory heat

Hello

ive got a program called ASUS PC Probe II .. now thats telling me that my memory is @ 45-47C is this too hot for memory? its reached 52C before

What memory you using and at what speeds?? My crucial Ballistix run very hot

you have temperature sensors on your memory? I thought this was only an option with ddr3?

hi my memory is 2x 512ddr2 667Mhz .. not sure of the make .. well as regards to the DDR3 only have temp sensors.. i dont know.. the program is telling me this.. so unsure.. it could even be wrong.

Also im using this motherboard... maybe it does have sensors some where on it for memory .. or does the Memory itself have temp sensors?

I'm sure your fine. My RAM used to go past 60oC and its still ok (for now) :rolleyes:

what volts are you using? Generaly over 2.3V on performance ram it is recomended to have a fan blowing air over the dimms
