It's probably not worth the money tbh (looking at near £200). 939 systems don't need fast RAM.

What are the timings on your current set?

Not sure what timings are , how do i find this out , on CPUZ ?

Is that 2 x 1gb sticks? If so, then drop the Command Rate to 1T. AMD systems take a fair hit running on 2T.

You could fork out near £200 for some that runs at 2-3-2-5, but that would be a waste of money IMO. Unless you could nearly cover it by selling your current sticks.

Yip in the BIOS. Command Rate is usually listed near the bottom of the RAM timings. 1 and 2 (or possibly auto) should be its only options.

Well that single change should make your current RAM run a bit faster. Tho, just like buying a new 2-3-2-5 set, you probably won't notice the difference.
