After abit of help please from people in the know!

I've currently got a Rock Xtreme 770 that has 2G RAM which is 2 X 1g 800Mhz DDR2 Non-Ecc. I'm after upgrading to 4G and have come across this memory:-
4GB kit (2GBx2), 200-pin SODIMM, DDR2 PC2-6400 memory module. It's available in both 667 and 800 but does anyone know if my lappy can take the faster speed RAM please?

Thanks in advance.

you just said that yours came with 800mhz ram, so you may as well put the same back in.
PC2-6400 is 800mhz

There normally are no issues fitting ram with a faster spec than required, as you computer will just run it at the slower speed automatically

Ok thanks. I realise my wording was bad and I meant will it take the 4G sticks ok but after some more checking it's fine.

Thanks for the reply.
