memory help please

Im building a new C2D system,
specs
main components will be
e6750
gigabyte p35 mboard
2gb ram
8800 gts

Im a bit confused with memory, should i go with fastest but cheaper quality i.e. OCUK value memory (PC2-8500C5)

or do i take the route with a recognised supplier but slower (PC6400C4)i.e.

no plans with overclocking but i might tinker a little at some point

Would i not be better getting 4gb of this, as opposed to the 2gb i mentioned before?

will be running 32vista.
Ok, sorry if this sounds stupid, but im not clear on this, why is slower memory being recommended? i.e. 5300 over 6400/8500. I have no plans in overclocking.

thansk for that, but what im getting at is, if i have no plans for overclocking...Does it matter if i get OCUK memory or something like the crucial ballistix offering?
