memory info ?

Hi All i want a bit of advice , i have a p.c with Vista 32x and currently run 2gig memory , can i upgrade to 4 gig , will my system run on this ?

my details are :
E6600 cpu
Asus 5KP Deluxe m/b
9800 GFX
2 gig 6400 memory

no, becuase your on a 32bit opertaion system it will only recognise 3GB of the RAM t will run but at reduced size.

if you want to take advantage of 4GB or more then you will have to upgrade to a 64bit operating system

okay thanks , so it will work if i put 4 gig in it ? but reduce it to 3gig ?
